Dr. Kennedy is a cheerful, caring doctor who grew up in Shawnee, KS. From a young age she knew she wanted to be a doctor so she could help heal people. Upon completing high school she attended the University of Central Missouri for pre-med. It was there she became more interested in Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine to keep a healthy and active lifestyle. Late into her junior year she realized she was no longer passionate about Western Medicine and wanted to help people naturally. Dr. Kennedy had received chiropractic care since she was a child and was always fascinated by what they were doing and how good they made her feel. She realized she wanted to become a doctor of chiropractic.
Dr. Kennedy went on to attend the first chiropractic school in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She was very successful in her coursework and was awarded the Kansas Chapter Endowed Scholarship in 2019. Dr. Kennedy’s electives at Palmer included: Advanced Soft Tissue, Logan Basic Technique and Cox Flexion-Distraction.
Dr. Kennedy has been plant-based since 2015. While finishing up her coursework at Palmer, Dr. Kennedy earned her Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University.
Another passion Dr. Kennedy has is caring for animals. A mere five days after graduating from Palmer, Dr. Kennedy attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Wellsville, KS. She is now treating animal patients on the weekends at Stateline Animal Hospital.
Dr. Kennedy is dedicated to helping humans and animals with chiropractic care and natural remedies. She is eager to learn more in her field and is looking forward to serving the Kansas City community.
